This may be because Waterton-Glacier is both a joined park and two separate
parks. The International Peace Garden (any other members been there? I've been
several times, and we're thinking of another trip out there (as last time we
went my son wasn't born yet (he'll be 5 in a few weeks)) is one park unified,
there is no separate park in Manitoba and North Dakota, as exists with Waterton
and Glacier Parks.

To put it in another way that we can relate to, it's like the difference between
Kansas City (Waterton-Glacier) and Lloydminster (International Peace Garden)
