OK Hey!!!
Got the trailer back this morning, all fixed up!!! It was mind numbingly
inexpensive (not complaining mind you, just amazed enough to want to point it
out) and fast too. I had made a 3 day reservation at the Hotel and the trailer
was done in one day. Unfortunately I didn't call about the trailer until after
check out time the 2nd day.
The doggies and I enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Inn. I had a couple hundred
channels on the TV to zone out with and the dogs adored the cushy king size bed
with 8 pillows. Here is an observation............ I had 6 channels for 9 years
at my place in Clarksburg, and over 100 channels at La Quinta, still, it was all
junk!! However, there seems to be something good about a lot of junk as compared
to a limited amount of junk..... ;o)
Here is another observation; two dogs will crowd you out of a single bed and two
dogs will crowd you out of a California King bed. I wonder if Einstein has a
theory for THAT??!
I am back at Whispering Pines (3-14) and will roll out of here at
Zero-Dark-Thirty-Hours tomorrow morning, (3-15) en route to West Memphis
Arkansas. I will be staying at Tom Sawyers RV Park.
(http://www.tomsawyersrvpark.com/) It is right and I mean RIGHT, on the
Mississippi River. Stayed there back in 2006 when coming from Az to MD. You can
sit on your trailer steps and watch the barge traffic on the Miss. River. It's
very pretty. There are also great hiking trails all over the site.
Will let you know how the trip to Arkansas went and the goings on at Tom Sawyers
after i get there!
