When you apply to join, GIVE YOUR NAME & ADDRESS IN THE SPACE THAT YAHOO ASKS YOU TO FILL IN, OR LATER ON YOU WILL BE ASKED FOR IT! You canŽt be here anonymously. For people in Europe - who crave books in English, this will run on similar lines. A book for a book - with no obligation involved. If you agree on a swap, just pay the postage and do it within 48 hours! Nobody has to swap with anything they donŽt want to. All simply by mutual agreement!

Please state in titles of posts offering books, which country you are in, ie SPAIN - TALE OF TWO CITIES Dickens. FRANCE - Fiction List. All book titles are assumed offered. You can then swap books between each other directly making your own postal arrangments.

Most people will be keener to swap in their own countries to keep postage down. At time of writing posting an average paperback in Spain costs Euro 1.08c

The sooner you post a list of books to swap, the sooner you can choose swaps! You can also use the search facility on the group home page to search for titles youŽd like, & scan emails from members for possible swaps as they come in from the group. Update your list of available books ie remove books you can no longer swap/add new ones and repost the list when there are changes. Then when you do a search for books on our home page, you know to choose the most recently dated booklist sent in from that member.

When you find a book youŽd like, the person may not want to swap for one of yours when they see your latest booklist and will say šnothing IŽd like there right nowš as thereŽs no obligation. Same for you, if someone wants one of yours and you donŽt want one of theirs, just say 'sorry, nothing of yours right now' no problem! But there are many successful first time swaps too!
