Re: [boatdesign] light weight cat power boat

How about the Fishcat by Phil Bolger and Friends.  It is a bit longer and heavier at 15'8 and 260lb but could be shortened.  Fishcat isometrics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/hallman/2713606805/. Google "bolger fishcat".  The prettiest one is at the Common Sense Designs website.  Buy from Phil Bolger and Friends if interested.

I live across the street from the water and want to build a small light weight cat power boat that will hold two people but still be able to pull it out on a dolly and roll home.

Im thinking sub 14, less than or close to 200 lb hull weight, fast and powered by a 20hp or less motor.

Im looking for plans and or suggestions.
Thanks all
