A few months ago, I thought I found a product that was a solid fiberglass sheet
that could be used as a substitute for a plywood sheet. I though I first saw it
mentioned on http://www.yachtsurvey.com/ . I thought he said it was worth
looking into because it was the only panel product that he could dent with his
fingernails, but not crush. I googled around and found a production boat
company actually using it to build hulls for some fairly large boats. Over 30
feet, if I'm not dreaming this whole thing up. It wasn't starboard or c-flex or
some cored material like Airex. Something more like this
http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic/Fiberglass_Structural_Sheet but these guys
don't mention hull construction, and I thought the website I saw did. Does this
ring a bell with anyone?
Thanks,
Carl
