Yes, definitely use your doublehaul even if on your knees. It's tough sitting down but a must for any distance when on your knees or standing.  In terms of

Garrick - yes thats right - generally Clousers and surf candys etc etc. I use a 10 wt rod and lines. I think ive worked it out today while out in the water.
