Stern drive u-joins   Message List

Hello
My name is leif and i live in Sweden. My boat has a BMW 220 engine and Mark I
stern drive, my u-joint is broken and the ball bearing in the clutch housing. To
replace the ball bearing in the clutch housing,do i have to remov the grooved
nut before i press out the complete shaft from the housing?
I dont want to brake anything so i am very careful, thats why im asking for some
advice.
