A place for Australian owners of BMW Marine 6 cylinder petrol engines and sterndrives to exchange information.

Technical discussions, tips and techniques, servicing advise, sourcing spare parts, suppliers, maintaining and keeping these motors running is the primary goal of this group.

Through this group owners of BMW petrol engined boats can stay in touch and help one another keep their engines running in peak condition for as long as possible.

Although Australian based overseas contributors are welcome as are parts suppliers.

Stern drive u-joins
Hello My name is leif and i live in Sweden. My boat has a BMW 220 engine and Mark I stern drive, my u-joint is broken and the ball bearing in the clutch

There are millions.  any of the mercruiser setups will fit, just need the proper torsion dampner. Your drive depending on the year is either a Hurth or a
