Blues-DJ is a list for the hosts of blues radio shows, and those who wish to communicate with DJs. It is was founded by Ian Angus, the former host of Let the Good Times Roll on CIUT-FM in Toronto. It is currently moderated by Geoff Pegler, The host of BluesBeat on 5EFM in Australia.

Posts which are encouraged include matters which are relevant to blues radio programming, such as Playlists, Top 20 Lists, announcements of new recordings, reviews of recordings, industry and artist announcements, etc.

Not appropriate: gig announcements, repeated promotions for recordings or artists, etc.

Membership will be freely granted to anyone who requests it, but may be withdrawn if the member persistently violates the group's charter.

NEW MEMBERS: in order to stop spam, all new members will be moderated -- which means your messages must be approved before they go to the list. The moderator will try to remove this restriction after a reasonable delay -- but if he forgets, please remind him by email after you've been on the list for a week or two!
