The Blue Ridge Live Steamers is an active 7 1/2'' gauge Live Steam railroad club located on five acres of land in Franklin County Virginia, USA (near Roanoke, Virginia).
Operating on about one-half mile of track,our layout features two routes, a tunnel and a truss bridge. We also have a turntable and ample steaming bays. A transfer table makes loading and unloading easy. All forms of motive power are welcome.
Our group was formed in 1977. Originally located within the old Transportation Museum at Wasena Park, the club was displaced by the legendary "Flood of '85."
All non-members who wish to visit our track should post a message to this site. I will respond with more information. Due to liability issues we are closed to the general public.
