The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a worldwide nonprofit organization dedicated to the research and recreation of the Medieval Ages. The SCA "period" is defined to be Western civilization before 1600 AD, concentrating on the Western European High Middle Ages.



The Bloody Harlequins are an SCA war band. In simple terms this means that we are one of many groups that put on full medieval style body armor and fight each other. The fighting we do is full contact. Because of this we use 1.5 inch diameter rattan for our weapons instead of live steel.
