G = Gore (blood and other such things)

L = Language (profanity)

N = Nudity (implied or explicit)

S = Sexual Actvity (again Implied or Explicit)

V = Violence.

There are also the following for non-fiction related posts.

O = Opinion piece, a contributor's expressed opinion.

F = Facts, the essay or article has either foot notes or a bibliography to backup the opinions and facts expressed.
