I wanted to let everyone know that if people live in, around and also people visiting Wollongong. The Illawarra Leagues Club In Wollongong now has their menu on a audio Cd. Just ask at reception and one of their friendly staff would be more than willing to assist you in listening to their menu. The club is fully accessible and close to public transport.
I have been working closely as a volunteer project officer with Vision Australia staff in Wollongong other Vision Australia Offices and The Illawarra Leagues Club to promote accessible menus.
After lengthy research and consultation with the visually impaired and blind community I am proud to say that the project has finally taken off.
