how could you allow this to happen?

the church building that i attend on sunday mornings was surrounded by trees.
it was nice to look out the windows and see the trees, birds, chipmunks
(even the kung-fu chipmunk) running around n sunday mornings.

well, the church leadership decided that people weren't coming to the
church because people could not see the church. so they had the trees
chopped down.
it looks like a war zone outside the windows now.
no birds.
no chipmunks (or squirrels for that matter).
just a void with a direct view of the road.

how blah.

i think i'll go sit in a pumpkin patch and wait for the great pumpkin
to arrive.
at least there's some sanity in that decision.

and thank you for carl paladino and what's her face from new jersey or
delaware.
the one that dated a warlock.
i was afraid that this was going to be another boring election year.
never a dull moment with the lunatic fringe....

and remember to vote on tuesday.
that is, hopefully your vote counts on tuesday.
the new voting machines have shown themselves to be too easily hacked.
