I am always proud to be black, 365 days of the year, but this year is one of those times when you really have to take pride in being black in America. Barack Obama is the 1st Black President, and that shows not only how far America has come but how much we can achieve as Black Americans. I am telling you this because I can think of no better time to encourage and promote a sense of renewed Black Pride within our communities.
