Our little club will most likely have to adjust
to group status. As e-groups are replacing all of
the clubs out there.<br><br>When it happens, I'll be
sure to send you all the new
address.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Rome,<br><br>I think you have a wait as yet. In
the meantime, I'd try to enjoy that Bizarro issue of
Superman that is to be read backwards.<br><br>But the neat
thing about the Bizarro Comics (Hardcover) is that it
has a lot of underground writing in it. I found it
very entertaining.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
To anyone who is interested...<br><br>One of the
Christmas presents I got from my family was the hard cover
Bizarro Comics.<br><br>It wasn't bad but it was more a
show of what some independent artist could do with the
DC Universe.<br><br>Otherwise, it was pretty
funny.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Okay, I just finished reading the latest
appearance of Bizarro in Action Comics and let me tell you,
I was confused while I was reading it.<br><br>I
kept reading it and it wasn't until I got to the end
did it make sense and then I had to read it
again.<br><br>Let me splain.<br><br>The first problem was that (and
this is the kicker) since it was a Bizarro Comic IT
HAD TO BE READ BACKWARDS. So, you have to start and
the last page and flip backwards while reading up to
down. Second was attempting to figure out what Bizarro
was trying to say. Not unlike previous incarnations
Bizarro says the opposite of what he means but it is even
more so. When he says that "he's NOT going to do
something" it means that he's going to do it. When he says
something is short, he means that it's long, when he says
heaven, he means hell. When he says happy, he means sad..
and so on.<br><br>It was a good issue
nonetheless.<br><br>Regards,<br>vikar25
RomeandShelly,<br><br>Hmmmm, My pre-Crisis
knowledge of issue numbers is a little fuzzy so, I couldn't
give you are really good answer unless, I did some
research.<br><br>I would imagine this probably to be sometime in the
early eighties, sometime in 1982 may be my best
guess.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
rome,<br><br>Too true.<br><br>There are certain
things that I miss about the Pre-Crisis continuity, one
of them is Bizarro and Bizarro World. The last
Pre-Crisis Bizarro story or appearance that never was was
the last Superman Story by Alan
Moore.<br><br>Bizarro's final moments before he started his rampage was
to realize that to be completely opposite to
Superman, who is alive, he must as Bizarro, be dead. He
then killed himself with a chunk of blue
kryptonite.<br><br>This was of course after he had destroyed his own cube
shaped Bizarro world.<br><br>I am glad that this third
incarnation of Bizarro seems to be the most stable. I really
have to get my hands on the Emperor Joker storyline
where he makes Bizarros appearance.<br><br>The
Post-Crisis incarnations of Bizarro have been tradgic figures
at best. The first being introduced by John Byrne in
THE MAN OF STEEL and the second being the last chance
effort made by Lex Luthor to find another suitable clone
body for himself. Both of these Bizarros eventually
disintegrated. But not before attempting to live an imperfect
copied existance of Superman.<br><br>Stick around Rome,
I'll make sure I can dig up some more Bizarro
stuff.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Romeandshelly,<br><br>How nice!<br><br>I'm sorry,
that I haven't been about lately, I've been really
busy as of late. I am so glad that there are other
Bizarro Fans out there (especially since his reemergence
in "Emperor Joker")<br><br>I'll be about a little
more often now.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Hey I thought about making a club about Bizarro World, and then I saw this club.
I like this club, I hope to see it more active. I will be posting some images
on this site.<br>Rome
I have yet to get my hands on Bizarro Comics Hardcover collection.<br><br>I'm
just waiting for this to come out in Trade issue.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
I'm trying to find recent appearances of the new
Bizarro (his current post crisis incarnation). I know he
is making appearances but I have yet to find
any.<br><br>Anyone, anyone, Bueller?<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Bizarro's appearances have been few and far
between in all of his incarnations. So, I think I'm going
to have to go hunting for more material in both my
own collections and abroad.<br><br>I was wondering
however if anyone had noticed toward the end of the
Pre-Crisis time that Bizarro's powers had mutated to be even
more opposite than Superman's. Such as his flame
breathe and his freeze vision.<br><br>Another thing I
have to find is the apearances of the Bizarro Justice
League and more apearances of Bizarro
Batman.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Hi Liz,<br><br>I'm glad you've joined. Yes, there
is some following over Bizarro, I'm sure his stories
are some of the more popular in the Superman comic
books. <br><br>But not only that, the Bizarro Jerry
episode of Seinfeld is truly a classic and hilarious
among comic book readers. (Especially, the end tag "Me
love you guys!")<br><br>I hope to see you
around.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Sorry for the delay, my company is having its periodic bloodbath and I'm trying
not to get splattered.<br><br>There are more photos in
covers.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
To anyone who is interested.<br><br>The newest
incarnation of Bizarro made a recent appreance in Action
Comics in April. This incarnation of Bizarro was created
by Mr. Mxyzptlk/Joker's magic. He even wears his
"Bizarro No. 1" tag. <br><br>The relationship so far
between Superman and this Bizarro incarnation seems to be
different though. Superman is legitimately concerned that
the creature may accidentally (or intentially in
backward logic) kill an innocent. Superman has begun to
adopt a murderous tone with Bizarro to frighten him
into not staying around and causing any
"trouble".<br><br>Now it's a matter of tracking down the issues to read
the books. I'm certain that there will be a trade
paperback on the Mxyzptlk/Joker team up soon
enough.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Hi guys.<br><br>Welcome to Bizarro's Home Page.
I'm going to lay off the Bizarro talk for just a bit
until we're all settled in.<br><br>Just a few
things.<br><br>If you guys have any suggestions about what you'd
like to see in this club please feel free to mention
it. I, myself, will try to come up with some Bizarro
trivia questions from my book (and maybe even throw in
the occasional Superman question).<br><br>But this
page is about Bizarro and Bizarro World (and maybe
even the Jerry Seinfeld episode about Bizarro Jerry.)
In any event, let's have fun with
this.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Now that we seem to be reliably set up, I'm going to now look for people to join
the Bizarro Club. Let's see if everyone's up to it.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Okay.<br><br>Now that everything seems to be
working reliably, I have posted some Bizarro Covershots
from the 50's and 60's. And, of course, a picture of
the man himself in the default directory.<br><br>More
stuff to come!<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
This is great! This is the first really good sign
that every thing is going to work with the club. I
will start posting Bizarro pics shortly. as I now have
my (justifyably mine) founder's
rights.<br><br>Here's to the new members to have joined in my abscence.
I think you can post stuff
now.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Hi all,<br><br>Well, once again, there seems to
be trouble in Bizarro world. Or as Bizarro would
think that everything is going "Gud".<br><br>So far, my
own club is showing me as a guest. (Once again,
perfect for Bizarro World). This appears to be the state
for any of the newer club on Yahoo. I have no idea
why but other club founders are also having the same
problem. <br><br>Fortunately, as a guest I can still
update and post some messages. When Yahoo wakes up and
smells the cappaccino and sees that more than one person
is complaining. The may just step in and fix it.
<br><br>In the meantime...Bizarro AM in
charge.<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
Good-bye!<br><br>Wouldn't ya know it? I start
this club and the first this that happens is that I
can't update it and it won't allow me to change any
pictures.<br><br>I think that's a sign that this Bizarro Club is
getting on the right foot... or is that the wrong foot...
or the left foot.. or WHATEVER! <br><br>In any
event, this is for Bizarro. The imperfect duplicate of
Superman. This will also be for Bizarro World and all of
the wacky inhabitants that populated it before the
CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS and WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE
MAN OF STEEL?. For those of you that have read that
Alan Moore story, you would know that Bizarro met his
"final" fate (Bizarro am dead.) by exposing himself to
blue kryptonite.<br><br>As for me getting my interest
back into Bizarro World, I recently purchased TALES OF
THE BIZARRO WORLD and remembered what a fun character
Bizarro was and how confusing he was to read. But that
was the fun. In a normal story, where the main
character's house gets wrecked at the end it would be a bad
thing. Not on Bizarro World (He am gud neighbor!)
Remember, everything is backward.<br><br>The Bizarro
Code:<br>US DO OPPOSTE OF ALL EARTHLY THINGS! US HATE BEAUTY!
US LOVE UGLINESS! IS BIG CRIME TO MAKE ANYTHING
PERFECT ON BIZARRO WORLD!<br><br>Hopefully, now that
everything seems to be operating well, we should be able to
get people in here and get things started... or
ended.. or sometimes this really gives me a
headache.<br><br>Hello!<br><br>Regards,<br>Vikar25
