For writers wishing to join others writers in a Book-in-a-Week writing challenge. This group is moderated by Moe.

Turn off your internal editor and write as much as you can of a rough draft in one week. The object is to free your creativity, learning to write fast but well.

During BIW the email is extensive. To be a member the minimum email requirement is 'Special Notice', 'No Mail' is not allowed. If you go 'No Mail', you will be un-subscribed from the group.

Memberships are usually accepted within a week of receiving required info unless membership requests are received during an active BIW (see "When" at BIW website) then they will not be approved until the following Tuesday.

Each writer who subscribes to the group receives an automatic message requesting required information within 24 hours. For some reason not everyone is receiving this email. So here is the requested information (Send it in an email, please don't put in the comment box. You will be asked to email the info):

-First and last name.
-Why you want to join our group?
-Where did you learn about our group?
-What kind of writing do you do?

As of May 2007 Book-in-a-week also requires new members to make a $3 donation via PayPal. If you leave this is non-refundable.
