Description
What is BirdYak?
BirdYak is a mailing list for topics relating to birding in Yakima County, Washington's second largest county. Anyone may subscribe to this free service, both beginning and advanced birders.
This list is open to anyone, and the hope is that the postings will focus on issues of sightings and identification related to Yakima County rather than issues that are more suitable to Tweeters or BirdChat. Discussion of purely conservation issues are discouraged, as there are other forums for this. Advertising of a commercial nature is prohibited.
Members are expected to generate genial and respectful posts to BirdYak, refraining from flames and ugly comments. Continued failure to follow this simple appeal will result in removal from the list.
We're glad to have you as a member!
Additional Keywords: bird, birds, birding, birdwatching, birder, ornithology, Northwest, Washington, birders, Yakima
