This is a list for genealogical research and exchange of data on the Bird family of Delaware who intermarried with the Empson family.

Pictured is Old Swede's Church where many of the earlier Birds attended. There are quite a number of Birds buried in the adjacent cemetery. To become a member of this group you MUST provide your regular email address. If your Yahoo account is not the address from which you get most of your email, you will need to place your regular email address as the one which takes care of delivering the messages from our group. We do want participating members, and bouncing messages from a Yahoo address does not accomplish our goal. That only accomplishes being dropped by Yahoo or by me, from our group. If protecting your identity is a problem, you still have the option of keeping your regular email address private, and will be seen only by our membership.
