In this moderated Group we share the DETAILS of our organization's activities. Those wishing to become members of this Yahoo!Group must first become members of our organization. To join, go to http://www.peacecorpsconnect.org/membership/ and add "RPCVs of Greater New York" as one of your affiliate groups. The treasurer gets a monthly list of new members and sends out invitations to join the Yahoo!Group to the new people.

To make it easier to sign up for for THIS Yahoo Group, we recommend you set up a Yahoo profile in advance. Join an unrestricted grouup that looks safe to you. When you have a fully functional profile you can control the settings on whether and how you get the our emails, notice of file postings and reminders of our calendar events.

Want to attend an event before joining? A public web page, www.rpcv-gny.org sometimes includes selected event details that you could use to participate in one of our events.

About every 2 months there is a membership meeting for planning the following months' activities. Every month or so the President of our organization adds an updated file of our events and news of interest to RPCV's in the New York area.

You can also join our Connected Peace Corps group without "officially" joining the organization. http://community.peacecorpsconnect.org/group/rpcvny but that website does not include our events details.
