This is an open discussion group on words of God. We will examine scripture and ask many questions. In no way, is this my intention to question God, Christ, Christianity, or any other religious group, race, creed, or color. No heated debates will be tolerated. This is a discussion. Please respond accordingly to the question or statement. If want to debate with someone-do it privately. Most of all be respectful to others. No hate messages or threats will be tolerated.
To love God is to know God. I want to know as much as I can about God, my Creator. My main reason for the group is because as I read or studied the Bible word for word- it seemed like cliff notes of a much bigger story - especially about Christ and His life. As with God, I want to know about Christ.
What about Enoch, who was the most beloved man on earth and never died? God’s words are very direct and easy to understand; then why are there so misinterpretations and contradictions? Why so many different Bibles?
One main fact that stands out so much is Christ’s birthday- man cannot even get it correct? And why the twenty fifth day of December was chosen by man to be Christ’s date of birth? Who decided to approve or disapprove God’s words in the Bible? What about the Virgin Mary-What did she have to say because nobody would have known more about the life of Christ; especially his infancy and youth.
If we were all created in the image of God, how come we all look different as to facial make-up, or color? Is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the same God as the God of Israel? Is God, God of our universe, solar system, or galaxy? Were angels aliens?
These are just a few examples of questions open for discussion that will arouse interest, make you aware, and have you searching for God as I do.
