Published quarterly from 1997 to 2007, Blithe House Quarterly featured a
diversity of new short stories by emerging and established lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgendered authors. A GLAAD Media Award nominee, BHQ was called
"the central publishing arm of new queer fiction" by OUT Magazine and
name-checked in an article on online literary magazines by The New York Times in
January 2007.

BHQ is currently in hiatus until the electronic magazine format battles are
over... Looks like iPad's format will win at the moment but we hope an open
source reader/bookstore with no content restrictions will prevail.
