Bhojpur district is in a state of anarchy. Bhojpur was originally Sahabad district. Britishers broke it into several parts. Now Bhojpur and Bhojpuri culture is in several states and in several countries. Bhojpuri group intends to brainstorm issues of concern to Bhojpur and Bhojpuri culture.

At present Bhojpur is surrounded by Buxar, Rohtas, Patna, Jajamabad, Saran and UP. Bihar is divided into several divisions. Bhojpur comes under Patna division.

All those who are concerned about issues related to Bhojpur in particular and Bihar in general can come together to debate, discuss and support honest efforts aimed at discouraging dishonest activities at all levels and at whatever levels possible.

We as group intend to create a database of information related to our district and our state.

Please send us on this listserve a wrire-up describing the status and facts about your village/town and constituency. To begin with do mention the name of your Panchayat Sarpanch, Mukhiya. Also your opinion about them along with your views about the district magistrate, supritendent of Police, his subordinate officers and relevant MLAs.

It has been decades since anyone praised Bihar governmet, we as a group take a rare oppurtunity to welcome the ban on cancer causing gutka in Bihar. The way its consuption has spread has led to a steady rise in the student population.

It is high time for all like-minded people and organisations to come together and evolve a comprehensive plan to create awareness among the people about the health effects of gutka.

The Bihar government deserves kudos for ban provided the ban is enforced on the production, marketing and consumption of this deadly addictive. Bihar governmet cannot sit complacent, chewing the gutka of anarchy.
