Our Statement of Faith

This email list as well as our web site (www.renewingyourmind.com)holds sacred some fundamental Christian beliefs. As Christians, we do hold that "Jesus is Lord" and that "He" is "Truth" and through Him we connect with the Father in Salvation. We firmly believe that Jesus is the "only way" to the "Father" and hence the "only way" to God (John 14:6).

Though we would never denigrate anyone because of their faith, as Christians we do hold firmly to the Biblical witness of Jesus as the "Resurrected Lord". And, as the Resurrected Lord, we believe that He is "The Way" God has chosen to reveal Himself to man.

Through our acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior, we experience the salvation of God that results in our living in a loving relationship with Him. Likewise, to fail to accept Him as Savior and Lord denies His witness as being the Son of God and denies access to the Heavenly Father - to God.

As with the Apostle Paul, we agree that the significant event was the Resurrection of Jesus on the 3rd day following His Crucifixion. In I Corinthians 15:14-20, we read about the Apostles' conviction about Jesus being raised from the dead. It was the "Passion Event" of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection that confirmas our faith.
