This is an informal mailing list for anyone interested in Toastmasters in and around Berne, Switzerland, in joining the club or attending its meetings, or simply meeting its members, and for previous members who have moved on but are still interested.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization headquartered in California.
Its mission is to improve communications skills in English. For those who are more or less fluent in English it provides an excellent opportunity for speaking practice and the acquisition of organisational, presentation, evaluation and leadership abilities.

This mailing list is not restricted to current members of a Toastmasters organisation. It is an informal publication of its members.
