You don't need to reply to this Pelanuk but I have a lot of reservations about
the cyclical perception. This time I believe you will agree it's looking more
like a systems breakdown.
Bear Stearn is down and expected to follow is a bunch of the smaller outfits.
The bottom is still far away after the sub-prime. Chances are nobody can tell
what it will be like after the end is reached. Maybe a new Bretton Woods....?

i thought the itch cycle is seven years. ten, i'd say, is probably
curse or blight.

hope the sign of maturity and tolerance is not due to temporary
camaraderie created by the common source blighting everyone's life and
future. if the racial-blindness becomes something permanent, then this
sorry administration is at least good for something.

Guess they think that's better than the earlier suggestion that he is
the GusDur of Malaysia. But GusDur at least knew when to step down.

Let's hope a leader as strong and capable as Putin materializes after
the impending choas due to this directionlessness of AAB.
Let's hope too that Malaysians realize that that leader is not AI. the
man is still all hot air and no substance (even if he was
well-compensated when he did his lecture circuit here post
out-of-the-pen -- not worth the time or the money was what i heard),
and not above taking credit for the efforts of others.
also that penchant for histrionics. .. so tedious.
