The Labor Party (USA) was founded in 1996 by labor unions across the U.S. who felt that the Democratic Party was no longer listening to the working people of our country. We're not running candidates yet for any national office -- so no one can say that we're stealing votes from Democrats.

From January 1993 to January 1995, Democrats controlled the White House and both houses of Congress, yet couldn't -- or wouldn't -- come up with a national health care plan.

The Labor Party is seeking to remedy this and other problems by building a new party from the bottom up. That's where you come in. Construction!
