Beads of Clay, promoting Ceramic Beads as an art form

This group has been created as a discussion forum for ceramic bead artists interested in working together to promote artist made ceramic beads. This list will focus exclusively on the exploration and promotion of ceramic/fired earth clay beads. Among the topics discussed are kilns and firing, high and low fire clays and glazes, clay beadmaking techniques, and various business related topics involved in ceramic beads. Porcelain, Stoneware, Earthenware, Terra Cotta, Raku, Egyptian Paste, and Slip are among the materials used to make beads, buttons, and jewelry compontents by our members.

The reason for the exclusivity of this group is that, while there are a great many forums for the discussion of polymer and pmc, the resources for ceramic bead artists are very limited and it is our desire to keep this group very focused on this core interest.
