It's been a while since we had a new bead on our first page--and, in fact, I haven't paid a lot of attention to the Group lately. I intend that in 2010, I will more actively participate here--and I hope you will as well. Our new main-page photo presents an ancient jatim from Java, and a recent reproduction, made at Jember. You can see that new fakes have become very realistic in recent years. I will show some of the beads I documented in Bali and Java in late 2008.
