groundwork, we have been able to finalise the organisation of an
international conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Carleton University, Canada and North South University, Bangladesh
is jointly organising this international conference on 'Recent
Development of Statistical Sciences' during 26-27 December
2008 at the North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Several well
known statisticians of international repute have committed to
participate in the conference to honour Professor A K Md Ehsanes Saleh
for his outstanding contributions in the development of statistics. For
