A hobby costumer group BC Costumers encourages people within fantasy, sci-fi
and historical costuming circles to come on out and share knowledge, skills
and ideas with each other, with the goal of actively taking part in charity
functions, movie outings, social gatherings, conventions and parades.

This group is based out of Lower Mainland BC but encourages those who live
near by, are able to travel and/or are interested in BC activities to join
as well so that our reach is always longer than our arms and we can connect
on a broader level.

We welcome advice and invites from other groups of the same format and
goals.

Please keep in mind that this group is set up to help you research and build
your own outfit not make it for you.
Hobby prop and jewelry makers are also welcome as props and jewelry are
usually a major part of a costume.

NO SELLING or BUYING is welcomed here. This is a HOBBY group and sales will
not be tolerated. If you have something to share and you wish the
interested members of the group to cover their portions of the materials in
order to have a 'build' or 'project' day that is acceptable but no profit is
to be made directly from the group and any sales and/or hourly fees must be
discussed in private.
