I looked under the BC245XLT group files and it appears that the
software is there under the file BC245 XLT Control Software.

I have a zipfile that includes the installer for v2.4.1
and the executable only for v2.4.3.
You install v2.4.1, then simply replace the "BC245INT.exe"
file in the program folder with the newer version.
The zipfile is about 2 MB.

System is the type radio trunk system such as EDACS or Motorola. I displays the bank and system type being scanned at the time as that bank on the trunked system can display thousands of radio transmissions. It will only stop scrolling if a radio transmission stops the radio from scanning while on that trunked system.

Log feature works by going in Setup general log give it a name or leave automatic on then select log function log enable. Check mark will be on menu if it is on. This will allow you to see where and when the activity is. File will be created in the BC245 directory. I find it is nice to use in conjunction with scanrec
The log will tell you what activity there is on what freq/bank and scan record will record that activity. Nice thing about scan record is it only records when there is activity so the file doesn't get huge fast. I have a fire station near by and scan record allows me to go back to the dispatcher and find out where they are going when I wasn't near the radio. V/R Duff

Well being in electronics myself I’d
say you said it yourself. There is a problem with the way the scanner is
reading the battery voltage as compared to when it is plugged in directly. This
is not usually fixable by a consumer but it is in need of repair by and
authorized person. If it is a uniden scanner I think the repair rate it
reasonable if I remember right like $50.

Opps, I'll recompile it and put it out there and send group a note when it is done. If I remember right you had to install this one first to register the DLL files and then the upgrade. I have all of it from before Senss stopped working it. Give me a day or two as I'm very busy at work but I'm sure I have it all. Thanks for letting me know. V/R Duff

I am finding it impossible to find the full 2.4.3 version installer for
BC245int. Anybody have the install program? All links I can find out
there are either dead or not the 2.4.3 version.
Alain or Kevin,
I believe you have noticed that I'm offering your download of BC245
Interface on my website (
http://tymoody.com/radio/bc245int/bc245int.exe ). I hope you don't
mind. I tried to contact you before a few months ago in regards to
this matter. For some reason the link on your site (
ftp://q2.herzig.net/pub/bc245/245setup.exe ) does not work. If you
wish, I will remove the download from my site immediately. Thanks.
Sincerely,

Yes, especially when used around computer. Usually just moving it to another location fixes it. Electrical devices cause it and usually moving it around will help you figure what in the house is bothering it. Mine had to be a foot away from my old sony monitor. V/R Duff
