Description

The Warfield List: A mail list devoted to the discussion of Reformed Evangelical Theology and dedicated to the memory of Princeton Theologian, B.B. Warfield (1851-1921)

The Warfield List is a private mailing list that started out as a friendly review and discussion of B.B. Warfield's Brief and Untechnical Statement of the Reformed Faith in 1996. Since that time we have grown from a circle of 12 Christian friends, to a community of over 600 people interested in discussing the Reformed faith we believe to be the system of doctrine taught in the Bible.

Please note that this is a *private* list insofar as posting rights are concerned. Anyone joining does not automatically have full posting rights. The moderators reserve the right to grant such rights to those we deem fit. All other posts will be screened, and no guarantee can be made that they will ever appear on the List.

We are self consciously: "A discussion of Confessional Reformed Theology and related issues in the spirit of B.B. Warfield, and within the framework of what he and other Reformers considered to be 'Biblical and Reformed Doctrine'"

Please look elsewhere for: A classically American "me and my Bible" discussion in which members randomly offer their theological opinions, and we all wait on whatever pearls of new revelation drop from the keyboards of latter day Joe Smiths and Ellen G. Whites (with maybe a John Wimber or two for good measure).
