Welcome to the BBOPS group! BBOPS stands for Blair Band and Orchestra Patrons. It is made up of parents and guardians of instrumental music students at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Md.
Its purposes are:
1. To support the goals and objectives of the Instrumental Music Program.
2. To assist the teachers, staff, and students with administrative and logistical support when
requested.
3. To help promote a positive image of the Instrumental Music Program throughout the community.
4. To provide financial support for the Instrumental Music Program.
5. To foster communication among the Instrumental Music teachers, music students and parents.
6. To foster parental involvement and support of students in the Instrumental Music Program.

The BBOPS usually meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Instrumental Music Room at Blair
High School, Rm 14.

Membership on this list is restricted to instrumental music students, parents, guardians and Blair teachers and staff members. All memberships will be approved by the moderator.
