theres several full-size Futra photos in the Album section. There was a futra kit
out there but can't remember who put it out.Maybe one of the members might know.
Batmobile thing and have a couple of questions.
I knew the original Batmobile was built from a
Lincoln. What I didn't know was it was a Futura.
What
was the Futura? Could someone put up a pic of one? I
never heard of a Furura until I started doing some
digging.
One more question: I saw add on resin parts to turn
your Futura into a Bat, does some model company make a
Futura model, or does that also come as a resin kit?
I agre with you Gamester,I think I know who
you're talking about and he's nothing but a trouble
maker.I have one of the 1/12th scale car models and I'm
happy with it!So I don't know what that guys problem
is,what a loser
I've been hearing alot of rumors from a
disgruntled individual who said this 1/12 model was not worth
the price. I have personally seen each and every one
that was built and sent. They look great. The same
degree of care has gone into each one. I have been told
the the individual INSISTED that his kit be put
together. I saw how the car was packaged when it was
sent... and the condition it was in when the said
disgruntled person returned it. It was completely and
carefully taken apart and there were traces of mold release
and mold compound in crevices all over it. If it were
a terrible product, why did he want copies of it?
And why would such a terrible product win awards a
modelers competition? It looks to me like another internet
scammer trying to make profits off of another honest
person.
On your 1/12th scale batcar models,if you use
rhinestones from any hobby or craft store on the roll bar and
even on the dash it'll give it alot better look and
give the effect of lights. Thanks for the tip Kevin!!
Me and a friend of mine(who also is a member of
this club)took my personnal Batmobile model up to
Lincoln Ne.to a model contest at Hobby Town. There was
alot of compatition, and my batmobile placed 3rd out of
all the car models there.1st place went to a guy that
put together a 1/8th scale 30's roadster complete
with lights that came with the kit.I was glad I place
because of all the models that had to be judged.
I've been way too busy to do any build ups lately but I think everyone hangs out
over at the Batman Modelers club. Maybe you and it's founder should institute a
merger..
How do we humble members obtain these 1/12 scale models of the Batmobile and
Black beauty cars ?

How much are they etc etc.

Yours in Green,
Blake Ewing.
Hey members,Not only do I have the 1/12th scale 60's Batcar for sale, but I also
have the 1/12th scale Black Beauty kit for sale also.(Green Hornet's car)
I joined your club because not only am I
interested & appreciative of your Batmobile
creations,
but would you display your Batmobile
kit offer &
your wearing the BATMAN uniform at
BATMAN Prime
club for all other Batfans to see? I'm interested on
your story or experience of making your own Batman
uniform, seeing the Batmobile and anything else relating
to the BATMAN TV series. Could you share with me
what type of material was used in making your Batman
uniform?
