This is a low-volume, moderated (posts must be reviewed) list intended to keep Basking Ridge residents aware of what is going on in the neighborhood. There should be fewer than 2 messages a week from this list, and probably much less than that during most of the year.

Messages should be relevant to the majority of the Basking Ridge neighborhood, be intended for notifying residents of events or issues, be non-commercial, and generally contain the following:

- What
- Where
- When (date and time)
- A brief description
- Contact info (URL, e-mail, and/or telephone)

If your post is a request, a discussion, or an offering of services, it's probably better suited for the Basking Ridge Forum discussion group. You will usually receive a quick reply from that group
