RE: [barrettqmac] Wanted - Barrett AutoTune Whip Antenna

Hi Michael

Yes, that is a very short whip---generally they need to be at least 1.6 metres long---2 metres long is ideal

Hope this helps

Thanks

Subject: [barrettqmac] Wanted - Barrett AutoTune Whip Antenna

Hi All,

I have got a Barrett 550 and the associated AutoTune Antenna.

The AutoTune Antenna has only got a very short stainless steel whip antenna on it (ie about 20cm from memory).

I would think I would need something a bit more substantial?

So does anyone have one they would like to sell?

I would also be interested in any of the programming software/procedures too.

Michael
