Barefoot Horses S.A. is a discussion group started by horse lovers in South Africa. We believe that all horses should be barefoot and so strongly encourage thought and discussion along this vein. The intention is to form a friendly, informal discussion group about barefoot horses as they pertain to all spheres of horse ownership, breeding and riding in Southern Africa. Classical Riding Principles and the welfare of the horse are of the utmost importance. Discussion of any riding disciplines and the performance of the barefoot horse therein, while adhering to the Classical Riding Principles, is also encouraged. Natural Horsemanship topics are also welcome as are news items, current events etc.

New members are welcome, introductory posts are appreciated but not mandatory.

The list will remain unmoderated for the time being however trolling, flaming, inflammatory posts, personal attacks and nastiness will not be tolerated. Disagreement is to be expected but other peoples opinions and feelings are to be respected. The list owners have the right to unsubscribe members from the list should it be deemed necessary.
