BalkanTalk is a discussion forum for anyone from or simply interested in the countries that once made up Yugoslavia. These would include Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. Whatever you may think about Kosovo's future status, it is included as well.

This forum is open to all regardless of their background, opinions or preferred language. Although the common language of this group is English, members are welcome to post messages in any other languages as long as they are aware that the readership may be more limited.

This is an unmoderated forum and, as such, may include viewpoints with which the forum sponsor disagrees. Such is democracy. The only requirement is that members treat each other with respect even when expressing disagreements. Since we expect members to be available to respond to comments, all members must subscribe either for Immediate or Digest E-Mail. While announcements of events are welcome, massive cross-postings are discouraged.
