are being advertised at The Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Education,
University of Oslo, Norway.

One of these doctoral fellowships will be at the Faculty of Education.

Up to two doctoral fellowships will be at the Faculty of Humanities.

In the autumn of 2008, University of Oslo established the research programme
KULTRANS with the participation of several faculties. KULTRANS aims to
strenghten research on cultural transformations in an age of globalization. A
key focus of the programme will be concepts and representations of ”the
world”. The research will be transdisciplinary, transnational and
transhistorical. In autumn 2009 we appointed six doctoral fellows who will form
a core group in KULTRANS. We now seek to expand this group with three new
positions. Candidates for these positions must offer a project which is clearly
connected to the KULTRANS programme (see www.cultrans.uio.no/english/) as well
as to one or more of its research areas:

- Migration, identity and language
(http://www.uio.no/english/research/interfac/kultrans/research/migration/about/)

- Foundational texts

In this second round of applications we will look for projects that

a) target the period before 1900 and discuss the historical dimension and/or

b) have an explicit linguistic, textual or discourse-oriented perspective
and/or

c) focus on political processes and institutions

For the fellowship associated with the Faculty of Education b) and c) are
particularly relevant.

Applicants must have a Master degree, or equivalent. The positions are available
for a period of three years. The positions must be taken up by October 1 2010.

Candidates who are accepted must participate in Faculty’s researcher education
programme (cf. regulations and supplementary provisions for the Faculty’s
researcher education) and must also engage in the designated research
activities. The successful candidates are expected to affiliate with the
research milieu associated with KULTRANS.

In assessing the applications, special emphasis will be placed on the quality of
the project description and on the assumed academic and personal ability on the
part of the candidates to complete the dissertation within the given time frame.
The short-listed candidates may be called for an interview at the University of
Oslo.

Guidelines for appointments to research fellowships at the Faculty of Humanities
may be obtained at http://www.hf.uio.no/english/research/doctor/index.html

*The Ottoman Past in the Balkan Present: Music and Mediation*

Finnish Institute at Athens &
Department of Turkish and Modern Asian Studies, University of Athens

Athens, 30 September - 2 October 2010

http://www.turkmas.uoa.gr/conf2010

Through the ages, the Balkans has experienced various political,
cultural and
social phases. The peninsula has been conceptualised in a number of
different,
often competing and contrasted, ways (Byzantine, Ottoman, Balkan, the East,
Eastern Europe) in academic and other discourses. However, in one way or
another, the long period of Ottoman rule constitutes an integral aspect
of all
those perceptions.

In the aforementioned processes, music has often played a central role,
either
in a direct or an indirect way: music and its representations mediate
national
ideologies and various viewpoints, such as Orientalism, Balkanism and
Occidentalism, which have a particular relationship with history in the
Balkans. Simultaneously, music is mediated through space and time, through
various means of documentation and transmission (orality, visual arts,
photographs, written text, scores and recordings).

Against this background and in the light of the current political
expansion of
the EU in the Balkan area, the exploration of issues related to cultural
identity and relations to the Ottoman past gains more prominence and
requires a
critical, interdisciplinary dialogue. In particular, the changes that
the EU
expansion will bring about to the existing structures of Balkan societies,
cultures and cultural policies from a musical point of view remain to be
addressed.

This conference welcomes innovative interdisciplinary (e.g. ethnomusicology,
history, anthropology, cultural studies) papers addressing the following
topics:

     - How are Orientalism, Balkanism and Occidentalism expressed and
constituted through music and its representations in the Balkans
     - Nationalism mediated through music and *vice versa*
     - Music, propaganda and the media: radio, television, the press and the
     Internet
     - Beyond music: analysing Balkan soundscapes as products of the past

Abstracts (max 300 words) of papers and poster presentations should be
submitted by February 15, 2010 to the following email address:
<conf2010@...>

The languages of the conference are English and Greek. Please specify
possible AV needs. All abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be
notified about the results by April 14, 2010.

region through coursework in such disciplines as history, political
science, economics, languages, linguistics, and literature, and such
professional fields as finance, management, public policy, and security
studies.

All students, regardless of citizenship, are eligible for limited
financial aid in the form of Harvard grants. Harvard grants, which may
cover up to full tuition and a modest living stipend, are offered at the
time of admission and are renewable for a second year.

We also offer Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships to
eligible US citizens and permanent residents [subject to renewal by the
Department of Education]. FLAS fellowships are awarded annually on a
competitive basis and cover full tuition plus a living stipend of $15,000.

For admission to the class entering September 2010, applications are due
on December 31, 2009. We require general GRE scores for all applicants;
applicants whose native language is other than English and who do not
hold a degree from an institution at which English is the language of
instruction must also submit TOEFL scores.

Subject: New Report: BiH National Human Development Report 2009: The Ties that Bind: Social Capital in Bosnia and Herzegovina
nnixon@...
Send Email Send Email

Dear list members,

I just wanted to bring to your attention the National Human
Development Report for Bosnia and Herzegovina, ‘The Ties that Bind:
Social Capital in Bosnia and Herzegovina’ which was launched in
mid-November at the University of Sarajevo. This NHDR 2009 is the
seventh in the series, published in BiH since 1998. The report breaks
new ground by examining, for the first time, the relationship between
social capital, social inclusion and human development in Bosnia and
Herzegovina (BiH). Electronic versions of the full report and the
executive summary are available at
http://www.undp.ba/index.aspx?PID=3&RID=54

Despite the progress that has been made since the end of the 1992-1995
conflict in BiH, the report finds that BiH’s social fabric is
characterised by fragmentation and segmentation rather than cohesion
and solidarity. BiH has a web of localised strong ties, based on
strong family relations. Such strong ties do have their advantages.
For example, they can provide support in times of need. To that
extent, it is clear that in their immediate networks people care and
look out for each other to a great extent in BiH. Those with higher
education have more diverse networks, highlighting the importance of
strengthening the education system in BiH and improving retention
levels. Yet for the benefit of broader society, a lot more needs to be
done to build broader, more integrative, and wider-spanning ties,
incorporating members of other communities, ethnicities, social
classes and both genders.

Quite optimistically – and in contrast to common perceptions of BiH –
the report also observed that people perceive the most friction in the
country to be between rich and poor and not different ethnic groups.
This complements the finding that the war is of much less significance
to people’s lives now than it was even three years ago and that, now,
most people are simply trying to move on with their lives.
Very few people lack support networks – although the problems of those
without such networks may be especially great in a society such as BiH
which is largely organised around tightly-knit local communities. In a
society so dominated by family and immediate ties, a lack of such ties
makes life extremely difficult. The report analyses levels of network
poverty and notes with concern that the elderly in BiH are more likely
to suffer from social isolation. This kind of isolation is an
important component to keep in mind when assessing forms of social
exclusion.

In addition, the report delves into the positive and negative effects
of social capital for broader processes of democratisation and social
cohesion. The research examines membership of clubs, societies,
organisations and associations in BiH, or ‘associational life.’ On the
positive side, civil society is observed as providing the basis for
more bridging and diverse social ties and, as such, is more inclusive.
Strengthening associational life in BiH would help to overcome some of
the more significant social cleavages. In contrast, the report also
looks at the downside of a society so strongly based on family
networks and the potential for those networks to produce and reproduce
inequalities through nepotism, clientelism and cronyism.

Social capital research – as this report shows – can improve
understanding of the obstacles that work to exclude and marginalise
different social groups. State and entity governments in BiH are
already pursuing various strategies to address social exclusion in
BiH, and the results presented here are intended as a contribution to
those efforts. It is hoped that this report will spark debate on the
ways and means of strengthening associational life and reducing social
exclusion in BiH.

It is clear that building linkages between segmented and homogenous
networks is an enormous challenge for the country, not least given the
context of an ongoing political crisis and the impact of the global
financial crisis. Improving social cohesion, in part through the
building of inclusive social capital, however, is essential for the
future stability and prosperity of the country. The report argues,
therefore, for more attention to social inclusion and to strengthening
associational life in BiH in order to create the basis for more
diverse and wide-spanning social networks than are currently present
in the country.

Best regards,

Nicola Nixon

FEMINISMS IN A TRANSNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE:
Challenges for old/new economic inequalities
Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik, Croatia
24-29 May 2010

The Zagreb Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research, the Centre for
Women’s Studies - Zagreb, Croatia, the Center for the Study of Gender and
Culture, Lahore, Pakistan and the University of Udine, Italy are pleased to
announce the fourth postgraduate course with the overall theme of feminisms
in a transnational perspective.
This year, colleagues from Udine and Lahore will join the board of
co-directors.
The topic for the 2010 course is Challenges for old/new economic
inequalities.

Course co-directors:
 Renata Jambresic Kirin, Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research,
Croatia (renata@...)
 Durre S. Ahmed, Center for the Study of Gender and Culture, Lahore,
Pakistan

Challenges for old/new economic inequalities
(summary)

Half a century ago Simone de Beauvoir asked why women do not share a group
solidarity even though their oppression as the second gender cuts across
class, racial and religious differences. She encouraged true feminists to be
part of the left political forces in order to fight for a better world.
Today, at a time of “postindustrial” financial capitalism oppression, and
when inequality and welfare gaps are taking on new forms, feminists across
the globe are far from sharing the same transnational agenda and the new/old
left is in deep crisis.

Thus, the need for cross-gender, cross-race and cross-class solidarity, old
(trade unions) and new forms of struggle (social and alterglobalist
movements) against the mighty profiteers of neo-imperial globalization is
waiting for urgent feminist reflections and activism. This is particularly
relevant today when the dominant economic and political paradigm is finally
being challenged more widely in public discourses, raising critical
questions of a sustainable human future. The under-pinning factor of this
change is the increasing global recognition of the need for partnership and
interdependence between women and men, humans and nature, the mind, body,
and soul as opposed to competition, the mindless rat race, over-consumption
and social alienation. Apart from theoretizations offered by feminists and
women-friendly economists, ecologists, developmentalists, geographers,
sociologists, macrohistorians and others, we are looking for various good
practices of nurturing the feminine sacred spirit and raising women’s
economic, cultural and symbolic capital. An important inspiration for
relating economic and gender inequalities with the feminine spirit comes
from Riane Eisler, the macrohistorian who proposed the seminal
cross-cultural difference between androcracy and the partnership social
model, the last being the foothold for her “caring economy” concept.

Some of the leading dilemmas and questions of our forthcoming course are as
follows:
 how can women oppose the intention of "cognitive capitalism" to exploit
the codified and tacit knowledge of native communities; how can they
activate their genuine transcendental aspirations to bring the sacred
question of life back to the world
 how feminist articulation enables us to look differently at various
labour regimes, mobile labour and volatile capital across different global
and local spaces
 the consequences of denying the gender impact of the crisis - and what
kinds of existing alternative economics exist (gift economy, fair trade,
caring economy, ethics of partnership, microcredit loans for women,
complementary currency system)
 how the need for women’s leadership contributes to the holistic vision of
human sustainability.

The guiding principle of the course is a feminist critique of the rhetoric
of “capitalism's temporary difficulties” and the belief that only
critically-aware cross-gender, cross-race and cross-class solidarity,
supported by the global communications network, can bring us closer to the
ideal of human sustainability and social justice. Only by raising women’s
critical and political voices can we build stronger coalitions to take the
next leap in liberation for ourselves and the planet so desperately in need
of women's leadership.

Eligibility:
IUC courses are conducted at the postgraduate level. All postgraduate
students interested in the topic may apply to participate, although the
course targets young scholars and post graduate students with special
interests in women’s studies, transnational studies, postcolonialism and
anthropology. The course will be limited to 25 participants (15 students),
in order to provide sufficient space for discussion, seminar work and
student presentations during the course. Participants are asked to seek
funds from their own institutions to cover travel and accommodation costs.
Limited financial support is available for participants from Central and
Eastern Europe.

Democratic
politics worldwide are increasingly being conducted and re-configured through
the domain of digital communications networks. The socio-technical
developments, such as Web 2.0, facilitating these media-saturated public
spheres are in little doubt. What is highly contested however is the
interpretation of what these profound changes offer for democratic governance
in the twenty-first century. At its heart is the recognition that these new
media networks are themselves the crucial site for a historical confrontation
between opposing political and/or business interests and discourses intent upon
forging new forms of social relations.

We will
address questions such as:

What new
forms and relations of power are produced in the digital network society?

Who are
the key social actors shaping the new public sphere and what are their
respective strategies, framing, and repertoires of action?

What is
the democratic potential of Web 2.0 applications such as social networking,
blogging and twittering?

What
empirical evidence do we have to understand and assess these developments?

How is
networked democracy influencing new democratic societies?

What are
its consequences for human rights, social sorting, migration, e-government,
community politics, surveillance, protest, participation, culture, identity,
mobilization, representation, nationalism, security, citizen journalism, trust,
regulation, both exogenous and self-regulation and much more?

Since the 1990ies, a growing concern in both the media and academia
emerged regarding the situation of Roma in Eastern Europe due to the
fact that they became, in countries in transition, a target and victim
of nationalism resulting in the worsening of the groups living
conditions, especially in comparison with the majority society. This is
also the case in former Yugoslavia, specifically after the wars of the
Nineties. Since 1999, if one mentions Roma in Kosovo but also in Serbia
and Macedonia, Ashkali and Egyptians has to be added for reason of
specification. All three groups are referred to as Gypsies by the
majority society and were expelled from Kosovo in 1999 and 2004.

Not only in Kosovo but also in the neighbouring countries such as
Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia, members of all three communities are
living as refugees from Kosovo or citizens of the country. As yet, only
few scholars have discussed the issue of the nation building of
Egyptians and the dilemma they are facing in a society predominantly
Albanian, Serbian or Macedonian.

This conference aims at discussing PhD projects regarding the history
and anthropology of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in former Yugoslavia.

Conference on 'Minority Politics within the Europe of Regions' in Cluj-Napoca
(Kolozsvr, Klausenburg), Romania.

The ECPR Standing Group on Federalism and Regionalism, together with the
Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania and the Romanian Institute for
Research on National Minorities (ISPMN), will organize an international
conference entitled 'Minority Politics within the Europe of Regions' on 17-20
June 2010.

Within the European space, issues related to ethno-regionalism and the legal
status of national and ethnic minorities are covered by several models, such as
federalization, self-rule and autonomy. In the recent decade these models and
their consequences influencing European architecture have been widely studied in
all sorts of theoretical and empirical frameworks. After the expansion of the EU
with the Central and Eastern European countries in 2004 and 2007, and with the
coming integration of the Western Balkans and possibly other states from Eastern
Europe, there has been a proliferation of multi-ethnic regions and national and
ethnic minority cases within or in the close vicinity of the Union. Researchers
and speakers from a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines, including social
and political sciences, history, linguistics, law, economy and area studies will
be invited to present empirical and theoretical studies on the minority issue in
the European space. The organizers will especially welcome studies on
ethno-regionalist politics, as well as on institutional arrangements and
policies concerning national and ethnic minorities in the new Member States and
the Eastern parts of Europe.

The organizers will select 30 papers for presentation in the following four
panels:

(1) Ethno-regionalism in Europe - where the history of ethno-regionalism in the
old Member States of the Union and the present state of affairs will be
discussed

(2) Models of self-rule and autonomy with respect to national, ethnic and
linguistic minorities in the Union: this panel will address the institutional
solutions and rights benefiting minorities in old and new Member States and the
solutions that are provided form by the Union's transnational structure.

(3) The historical and the present status of national and ethnic minorities in
Central and Eastern Europe - focusing on the historical, social and economic and
linguistic aspects of minorities' situation

(4) Minority regimes at work - the implementation and the practical consequences
of the policies concerning national and ethnic minorities in Central and Eastern
Europe.

The deadline for submitting abstracts (300 words) is 28 February 2010.
Applicants will receive feedback on the acceptance of their paper by 10 March.
Papers (5000-7000 words) must be submitted by 1 June 2010. The organizers intend
to publish the proceedings of the conference.

The official language of the conference is English. In the case of papers
presented in other languages (e.g. Hungarian, Romanian) simultaneous translation
will be available.

Participants whose abstracts have been selected are expected to cover travelling
expenses only, the organizers will provide for food and accommodation.
Cluj-Napoca has excellent infrastructural facilities, such as an international
airport that can also be reached by low budget airlines.

Please send abstracts to both of the following e-mail addresses:

Conference on Concepts and Consequences of Multilingualism in Europe 2

From October 7-10, 2010 the Scientific Research Center of the SEE (South East
European) University of Tetovo (Macedonia) and the research group 'Babylonian
Europe' of the University of Amsterdam will organize a conference hosted by the
SEE University of Tetovo in the Republic of Macedonia. The conference is a
follow-up meeting of the conference on the Concepts and Consequences of
Multilingualism in Europe 1 that took place in September 2009 in Budapest hosted
by the Budapest College of Communication and Business.

The organizers will select 30 papers for presentation in the following four
panels: (1) multilingual institutions and organizations; (2) multicultural
societies; (3) a tool-kit for transnational communication and (4) free space. In
the first panel the analysis of multilingual institutions and organizations is
focused on. The central question is: how do collaborators of multilingual
organizations and institutions communicate. Not only the analysis of European
institutions and organizations, like the European Parliament, the European
Commission and the Council of Europe is welcomed but in fact all sorts of
international organizations, like the UN, NATO, CIS, etc. can be presented. This
topic is inspired by the SEE University of Tetovo itself for this university
which is a multilingual institution, including teaching in Albanian, Macedonian
and English. In the second panel, the consequences of multilingualism for
society are discussed. How is the formal communication between citizens and the
state institutions and between citizens organized? Is there a communicational
language involved, a so-called lingua franca? What about the role of culture and

francae and lingua receptiva. In the latter case the speakers communicate by
using each their L1 being comprehensible for the receiver. What are the
advantages and disadvantages of these solutions? In the fourth panel any topic
that has to do with multilingualism in Europe can be put forward.

Dear sir or madam,

I address you on behalf of the (guest-) editorial committee of Human Security
Perspectives (HSP), an online journal edited by the ETC Graz which is dedicating
to
furthering the concept of human security.
In previous issues and especially through the HUMSEC project, the HSP has been
especially
dedicated to (human) security aspects related to the (Western) Balkans and has
allowed
for numerous publications on issues concerning the region.
Currently, the seventh issue of the HSP journal and its call for papers are
being
prepared. Given the focus and mission of the journal, the possibility of
contributing to
the upcoming issue could be of considerable interest also to subscribers and
friends of
Balkan Academic News.
I would therefore like to propose the distribution of the upcoming HSP call for
papers
via the Balkan Academic News. I would be glad also to forward to you our call
for papers.

Respecfully,

    Nathan Hauthaler

Dear Colleagues,

The European Union Center at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign is delighted to announce a new Master of Arts degree
program in European Union Studies. We believe this to be the first
of its kind offered in the United States. The call for specialized
knowledge of the European Union has never been greater. Graduating
students will find a healthy market for their training as the global
economy rebounds.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a world leader in
research and teaching, distinguished by the breadth of its programs,
broad academic excellence, and internationally renowned faculty. It
is the only institution to rank in the top five nationally in three
key metrics, ranking second in the number of Title VI U.S. Department
of Education National Resource Centers (with eight), fourth in
international students on campus, and fifth in the number of
undergraduates who study abroad. It was awarded the 2008 Senator
Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization by NAFSA:
Association of International Educators.

Our program is designed for graduate and professional students adding
expertise to their studies and for students seeking to enter business
or government with a master's degree. The European Union Center
draws upon the expertise of faculty from departments across the
University of Illinois campus, providing a broad range of
disciplinary knowledge. Internships opportunities and graduate-level
study abroad program exchanges are available. We strongly encourage
students to have at least two years of college-level study of a
language of the region at the outset of the program; The University
of Illinois offers advanced training in a wide range of European languages.

The European Union Center is a recipient of Title VI funds from the
Department of Education and is able to award Foreign Language Area
Studies (FLAS) scholarships to US citizens and permanent residents:
http://www.euc.illinois.edu/funding/flas/
Graduate student assistantships are also available on a competitive
basis. We are accepting students on a rolling admission; the FLAS
scholarship deadline is mid-February, 2010.

Please feel free to email our Coordinator of the program, Laura
Hastings at

Roma, Ashkali and Balkan-Egyptians in former Yugoslavia

The Southeast Europe Association (Sdosteuropa-Gesellschaft - SOG) in
cooperation with Schroubek Fonds, Giessen Center for East European Studies
(Gieener Zentrum stliches Europa - GIZO) and the chair of Southeast European
History at Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen invite to a conference in
Giessen, Germany.

Date:
22nd January 2010, 9:00-18:00

Location:
Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Alexander-von-Humboldt-Haus, Rathenaustrae
24a.

Since the 1990ies, a growing concern in both the media and academia emerged
regarding the situation of Roma in Eastern Europe due to the fact that they
became, in countries in transition, a target and victim of nationalism resulting
in the worsening of the groups living conditions, especially in comparison with
the majority society. This is also the case in former Yugoslavia, specifically
after the wars of the Nineties. Since 1999, if one mentions Roma in Kosovo but
also in Serbia and Macedonia, Ashkali and Egyptians has to be added for reason
of specification. All three groups are referred to as Gypsies by the majority
society and were expelled from Kosovo in 1999 and 2004.

Not only in Kosovo but also in the neighbouring countries such as Serbia,
Montenegro and Macedonia, members of all three communities are living as
refugees from Kosovo or citizens of the country. As yet, only few scholars have
discussed the issue of the nation building of Egyptians and the dilemma they are
facing in a society predominantly Albanian, Serbian or Macedonian.

This conference aims at discussing PhD projects regarding the history and
anthropology of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in former Yugoslavia.

*SOUTH** EAST EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY***

*Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communications*

*Department of English Language and Literature and the Language Centre*

*We are pleased to announce** that an international conference: **FROM
TEACHING TO LEARNING: CURRENT TRENDS IN ELT** will **be held in Tetovo,
Macedonia, 9-11 April**,** 2010**.*
   CALL FOR PAPERS

English language teachers in Macedonia and in the Balkans generally face
many challenges in teaching English as a Foreign Language. Traditional
teaching methodologies have, over the past few years, come increasingly
under scrutiny and teachers have had to adapt to new teaching models which
emphasize active, task-based learning and which integrate modern
technologies into the classroom. New trends in teaching constantly challenge
educators and it is only through dialogue with fellow practitioners that
educators can themselves learn and develop their professional skills.
Conferences
are obviously a good opportunity to foster a continuing professional
dialogue amongst English language teachers.

This is why, in the eighth year of its operation, South East European
University now invites proposals for an international conference to be held
in Tetovo, on the theme: *FROM TEACHING TO LEARNING: CURRENT TRENDS IN ELT
*. The aim of this conference is to bring together English language teachers
from South East Europe and elsewhere to exchange views and present research
on the many issues and challenges ELT professionals face in the context of
modern trends in education. This conference will be an excellent opportunity
for classroom practitioners to learn and share ideas, research findings and
teaching philosophies.

*The conference objectives are: *

*                   *

To exchange ideas about current teaching methods

To explore issues related to learner autonomy

To narrow the gap between teaching and research

To review the role of English Language in a changing world

To examine new trends in ELT

* *

* *

The conference organisers welcome proposals which fall within the broad
areas of:

*1. **Applied **Linguistics***

*2. **Second Language Acquisition** *

*3. **ELT Methodology*

* *

*Potential delegates may wish to consider sending proposals in the following
areas (but please note that this is not an exhaustive list): *English for
Specific Purposes, Assessment and Testing, Course Design and Needs Analysis,
Classroom Management, Relationship between L1 and L2, Literature and ELT,
The role of culture in ELT, Technology in the EFL Classroom.

*We invite the following types of proposals:*

*A) **Paper:* (30 minutes) which includes 20 minute presentation and 10
minutes question/answer time. It should discuss what the presenter is doing
or has done in relation to theory and practice.

*B) **Workshop*: (40 minutes) The workshop leader should aim to involve the
participants in activities which help the participants solve problems or
develop specific teaching techniques. A step by step procedure of the
workshop along with a short description of activities should be outlined.

* *

*While writing the paper/workshop outline please keep the following points
in mind:*

1. In general, presentations should draw on practical classroom
experiences.

2. Preference will be given to papers which aim to explore new trends in
ELT from a theoretical and practical standpoint.

3. Dont forget to include your contact details and affiliation with your
proposal.
