BABI Families is a support, information, referral, and sharing group for expectant and new families in the Greater South Bay Area (Santa Clara County, CA) and Peninsula (San Mateo County, CA).

We invite anyone local who is expecting or the parent of a new baby (up to 18 months) to join and invite their friends and colleagues to join, to access one another in the community of birthing and new families to:

Hear about others experiences and recommendations for:
doctors
midwives
doulas
birth places / hospitals
classes, options, and events
and other professionals and services
Connect with other moms and families nearby for support, playtimes, babysitters/nannies, breastfeeding help, parenting problem-solving, and other postpartum assistance and services.

BABI (Bay Area Birth Information) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit born from a group of birth professionals who wish to provide a stronger community of support for families in their childbearing years. Our goal is to provide information, resources, support groups, continuing education, and community awareness events for families and birth professionals throughout the Greater South Bay and Peninsula.
