Description
PERMACULTURE is an ecological design system for sustainability in all aspects of human life: building natural homes, growing food, restoring landscapes and ecosystems, catching rainwater, building communities and much more. By mirroring patterns found in healthy natural environments, permaculture practitioners build resilient, productive, diverse, beautiful, sustainable, cultivated ecosystems, equally supportive of natural and human activities.
THE ARIZONA PERMACULTURE NETWORK is a loose affiliation of permaculture practitioners and others interested in the sustainability of Arizona. We are not an organization, but a network connected solely through this listserve.
THIS LISTSERVE was created to support communication, resource sharing, and relationship-building among folks interested in permaculture in Arizona and surrounding regions.
Here are a few simple guidelines.
1. Please stick to the broad topics of permaculture and sustainability.
2. Please make posts helpful vs. purely venting.
3. It is only natural that members will sometimes disagree. Let's do so respectfully and move on.
4. If you're not interested in the topic or length of someone's post, feel free to delete or skip it, but let's not censor each other.
5. If you feel offended by a post, feel free to write the member off the list asking respectfully for consideration, but let's not reform personalities here.
6. If your comment is personal to another member, please send it to that member and not the entire list.
7. When making fact-based claims, try to reference the source so we can all learn more!
Please go ahead and introduce yourself when you join. We want to know you!
