Azerbaijan National Coalition is a part of Global Call to Actions Against Poverty (GCAP), the worldwide alliance which brands itself as �a call to every concerned individual and organization in the world to join the biggest mass mobilization against poverty. We are a unique worldwide alliance of hundreds of organizations representing millions of people (from grassroots movements and up). The organisations comprise trade unions, women�s groups, non-governmental organisations and faith groups, spanning every culture across the world. This scale and diversity gives us strength to make significant change.�

GCAP is targeting all governments � developed and developing, and pressing world leaders to take concrete actions to eliminate poverty in three main areas, Trade Justice, a major increase in quantity and quality of aid, debt cancellation and for national efforts to eliminate poverty and reach the Millennium Goals that are developed and implemented in a way that is democratic, transparent and accountable to citizens.
