Group Membership is by approval only - not restricted to members of the Club but a genuine reason for wishing to join must be given by non-members. Group Members are requested to abide by the following rules:

1. This is a private Group moderated by members of Avon HGPG Committee. We reserve the right to edit or remove inappropriate or abusive posts and to temporarily or permanently ban posters, including current Club Members, for inappropriate or abusive posting.
2. This is a flying forum; if you want to discuss other matters - including as asides to flying issues - please do think first. The world looks surprisingly different through other people's eyes and, if you post a strong opinion, it is unreasonable not to expect the same in return.
3. Play the ball, not the person. "Such and such is bloody stupid / outrageous / whatever" is acceptable. "So and so is bloody stupid / outrageous / whatever" is not.
4. In a complex discussion, quote what you are replying to. If you must post your reply at the top, fine, but remarks posted completely out of context are apt to be taken as such.
5. People cannot see your face on e-mail. If you wouldn't say it to someone in the pub you should even less say it on e-mail.
6. Telling other Group Members what they can and cannot say is unwise, provocative and can easily lead to yourself being reprimanded or banned for inappropriate posting. Please take it up with a Moderator instead.
