Where History and Fantasy become Reality

We are the AVALLOC SOCIETY, a Louisville Kentucky based group, who can offer members a Fun outlet for Historical/Folkloric Re-enactment. We embrace the Legend of the Lady of the Lake's Avalon. Gathering to Dance, Feast, Sing and share a common interest. Magical persona's (such as Faeries, Elves, Wizards, Middle Earth types and the like) are welcomed and encouraged within our group.

Perhaps no other legend has been more creatively depicted as this era. Movies from Excaliber to The Mists of Avalon show armor and garb that would be from the dark ages up to the 15th century.
Few movies really embrace the pagan side of this history. which welcomed Celtic Druids, Wisewomen and such.
