This is a family-like support group for people who have not only suffered from an eating disorder,, such as anorexia and bulimia and overeating, but have .or are suffering from an autoimmune disease such as lupus, fibromyalgia,CFIDS etc. I myself suffered from anorexia and bulimia for many years, and I now have 5 years of recovery. I have also developed an autoimmune disorder possibly due to all the damage I did to my body from the anorexia and bulimia. Not all people develop autoimmune diseases, but there is a correlation between the two. You will get lots of support and tender loving care here, and you may discuss anything that pertains to the above disorders. All who are not sure you have the above disorders, may also participate. Its also an educational and informative group, that can hopefully help coping with these disorders.
