A.C.E., Autodidact Community Enthusiasts, is a secular group of unschoolers and homeschoolers sharing in friendship and fun on a weekly and year round basis.

We believe:
* that human beings are naturally curious and seek knowledge.
* that our kids should have a large say in what and how they learn.
* that learning is intrinsically valuable.
* that kids of varying ages can learn together.

Our goal is to provide a place for families to gather, share information and enjoy family-led activities together. Our activities are planned on an interest-based timetable and range from studying a variety of topics (geodes, diverse cultures etc) to community service projects to hula-hoop jams.

The A.C.E. group will not:
* babysit or take responsibility for your children.
* charge for membership, although individual members may agree to share expenses for any event involving cost

A.C.E. members will be expected to:
* participate in a way which brings them joy!
* be self responsible; parents to remain on site with their children, or make private arrangements with another attending parent
* clean up after themselves (leave no trace)
