Teaching children with autism in the classroom is a challenging and demanding job. Teachers and para-educators often lack the needed support and training required to work with this population, yet with the rise in autism, the need for qualified individuals with the desire to work with children on the autistic spectrum is growing. Whether you are a special education teacher, regular education teacher, para-educator, or other education professional working with children on the autistic spectrum in the classroom, this group can help you to exchange ideas and get the support you need to do your job.

This list is for educators currently working in the classroom with students on the autistic spectrum -- parents and others will not be approved for membership. There are many groups for parents and I encourage you to find one that meets your needs. Thank you!
