A number of years ago, we a Swedish homeschooling family traveled to your
beautiful country. We were traveling the world for 6 month and when we were
due to arrive in your country we posted on this list in the hope of
connecting with some local homeschoolers. We got several invitations and we
had the honor of meeting up with some of you. We had a great time and
memories for life a lifetime.
During that journey many people who we met got inspired by what we were
doing asked us about advice on how they could do something similar. Coming
back we started to write a book in an attempt to answer these questions. The
book is still not finished but in the meantime we have made this website -
www.extendedworldtravel.com
We are sorry that it has taken us such a long time to get these answers
ready. But "Better late than never" as the Swedish saying goes.
We do hope that at least some of you find this information useful and maybe
put it to practice and take off on your own long journey. Our experience as
homeschoolers is that there is hardly any better way of learning than
through traveling.
All the best and Thank you
Magnus
