This is our 14th year!

Founded in January 1999, and now with over 600 members, this group's primary focus is to provide a meeting place for pipe smokers in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. However, we welcome membership and contributions from pipe smokers living elsewhere.

The pipe smoking scene in Australia and the region is small, but amid the diminishing choice of pipe tobacco available locally, and the right to smoke under serious threat, this group continues to provide a forum for a dwindling but ardent band of pipe smokers.

If you enjoy pipe smoking you are welcome to join the group and to post your pipe related views, experiences, links and photos here. If you choose to join us we hope you'll contribute occasionally and keep our group lively!

We do ask that you keep to the subject as much as possible. In the interests of us all SPAM, persistent off-topic messages, and nonsensical and offensive postings will be deleted and their authors removed and banned. Please don't respond to SPAM messages, it only propagates the unwanted subject line and I assure you the SPAMers aren't bothering to read what you said in reply anyhow.
